A Package to "Indiana Jones" baffles The University of Chicago

The Mysterious package

A package has become the talk of town in the The University of Chicago for a few days.

According to the university’s admissions department Tumblr page, a package arrived at the university on Wednesday addressed to Henry Walton Jones Jr. Unsure where to put the package, the student office worker set it aside until someone realized it wasn’t intended for any actual student or faculty member, but a fictional character who in his story was once enrolled at the University of Chicago: Indiana Jones.

The character’s Wikia profile, compiled from information released about the character through the films, TV series, video games and supplemental novels, says he was a student there sometime in the early 1920s.

When the package was finally opened, the mystery grew. Inside was an apparently handmade re-creation of Abner Ravenwood’s diary. Ravenwood, for those not familiar with the Indiana Jones films, was Jones’ professor at the University of Chicago whose knowledge of the Ark of the Covenant set in motion the story of “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” Steven Spielberg’s landmark 1981 film staring Harrison Ford as the adventuresome archaeologist.

“The book itself is a bit dusty, and the cover is teal fabric with a red velvet spine, with weathered inserts and many postcards/pictures of Marion Ravenwood (and some cool old replica money) included,” the admissions department wrote on its Tumblr page.

Some sleuthing on the part of the university discovered that the package had never actually been sent through the mail — the postage on the outside of the package was not real, even though it was dirty and scuffed as though it had been in transit.

So why did someone send this package here? Is it promotional? Is it an attempt to gain admission to the university? Is it some kind of art project?

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez brought themselves in a surprise dinner Friday in a Japanese restaurant. The tween power couple got in an epic argument during dinner and they didn't even make it to the appetizer. Bieber and Gomez had barely spent 10 minutes with their meal in the San Fernando Valley Japanese restaurant "Yamato" before they got into an argument.

The 20-year-old starlet stormed out of the scene, with the 18-year-old Canadian heartthrob following her with his head bowed, TMZ reports. "Something must have happened inside the restaurant, because 10 minutes after he arrived, they both stormed out looking stone-faced," a source told E! Online.

"They were very serious and did not look happy at all. She got in her car, and Justin got into his." Gomez then drove home, while Bieber training her car behind, only to be rejected at the gate of her LA home. "Selena drove off and Justin just sat there for a few minutes. I think he was waiting for her to calm down. He then drove to her house. When he got there, he started buzzing her gate. But she was obviously not letting him in. He continued trying. Then, after a while he got out of his car, he was obviously frustrated and went up to the gate and started yelling 'Selena' over it. But...she was not coming out," the insider added. "It was at this point [Justin] started to yell at the paps," the source told the site.

"He was obviously annoyed that they were there and witnessing everything. He was mad. Selena then came out, because there was such a commotion, he got in his car and left." That wasn’t the end of the story, for the source continued, "something must have happened overnight, though, because his car was there this morning."

According to a photog on scene ... Selena drove home with Justin trailing a few minutes behind. When Justin got to her place ... she denied him entrance at the gate and Bieber drove off. The troubled teen idol duo's romance only seems to get more dramatic. And Bieber seems to be taking it all in to learn some life lessons. "Things aren't always easy," Bieber tweeted later that night.

Keira Knightley says that being called anorexic over the years claims a heavy toll in her life. "The anorexic stuff — It's always going to have an impact, so I think it did hit pretty hard," the 27-year-old actress told Allure magazine in the December issue, according to E! Online. "Because you go, oh, maybe that's right! I knew I wasn't anorexic, but maybe my body is somehow not right." (Knightley won nearly $6,000 in libel damages after suing Daily Mail for saying that she suffered from anorexia in 2007.)

Although Knightley says that she's comfortable with her thin frame, one thing she's not OK with is the way her body is PhotoShopped on movie posters. "They always pencil in my boobs," the actress tells Allure magazine. "I was only angry when they were really droopy ... For King Arthur, for a poster, they gave me these really strange, droopy t--s. I thought, well if you're going to make me fantasy breasts, at least make perky breasts."

The 27-year-old actress appears nearly nude on the cover and in the magazine in various states of undress like one on the December cover of Allure, wearing only a Chanel jacket and Tom Ford tuxedo pants. The Anna Karenina star also poses topless in the accompanying article. "I'm quite rigorous about what gets exposed," the British beauty says of appearing nude on film. "No bottom half! I don't mind exposing my t-ts because they're so small -- people really aren't that interested."

But, she adds, she sometimes finds her sexual exposure confusing to her morals: "I am a feminist, but I clearly objectify myself — so that right there is a total contradiction to feminist principles."

Denise Richards has adopted a hurricane affected doggy as she often says he is like a magnet for stray animals. She even said that she can’t help but give in when she sees a distressed animal in need. When the 41-year old actress went to the North Shore Animal League America to help out after they were bombarded with stray animals after the hurricane, she immediately found a black Labrador puppy–or maybe the puppy found her–and adopted her before the day was over.

“Denise Richards visited North Shore Animal League America headquarters yesterday to provide vital help in spreading the word about our disaster relief efforts and encouraging adoptions. During their visit Denise and her family fell in love with Tara the Labrador Mutt-i-gree puppy and welcomed her into their home!” the organization wrote on their Facebook page.

The Animal League is known as the world’s largest no-kill animal shelter, and after Hurricane Sandy ravaged the Eastern part of the U.S., the shelter was overrun with pets which had either been lost or abandoned in the aftermath. They have been big supporters of the victims of the storm, providing cat and dog food to those who were displaced due to flooding or fire.

Richards is a well-known animal lover and has adopted several dogs over the years. According to a blog post Richards wrote at iVillage, she’s adopted more than 2,000 dogs over the years.

Richards writes:

“Every other Monday when I’m not working, I go to the shelter and we take out 30-50 dogs that would otherwise be euthanized … The dogs we take out are [driven] to a facility in Utah or Montana. Since joining the program, over 2,000 dogs have been adopted.”

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are now not going together. According to E! News Online, "the couple split" a week ago. They are passing a busy time recently. This might the cause people think that they are getting away from one another. But several sources are reporting about the split. Some even goes so far as doubting that Bieber Selena split is because to Biebers recent relationship with teen heartthrob 19-year-old Hungarian model Barbara Palvin.

Rumors that the adorable twosome had split started gaining traction in the last couple of weeks, but hit a high note just last night when Bieber, 18, was spotted seeing The Lion King on Broadway with a group of people that included his new attraction Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin.

Gomez, 20, and the Biebs went public with their romance in February 2011 when they attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party together. "I am happy," she told us a few months later about their romance. "I'm really happy."

No surprise, but many rabid Bieber fans have had it in for Gomez since day one, frequently attacking her via the Internet. "It hurts, it really does," she once told Z100 radio in NYC. "I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong. I've been best friends with him for a very long time. It does hurt my feelings a lot, but I try not to focus on it."

Mitt Romney may be disappointed for his defeat in presidential election. But it becomes more devastating for the for "Saturday Night Live" star Victoria Jackson. This is evident in her recent twitter status. The blonde actress took to her Twitter account to tell her followers how disgusted she was that President Barack Obama had been reelected. Jackson tweeted on Tuesday night: "I can’t stop crying. America died."

It was just the beginning of the vocal Tea Party supporter’s commentary. She also told her followers: "The Democrat Party voted God out and replaced Him with Romans 1. In the Good vs Evil battle…today…Evil won."

Finally on Tuesday night Jackson, 53, wrote: "Thanks a lot Christians, for not showing up. You disgust me."

It’s not the first time the former SNL star has made controversial comments. Jackson, who has the Internet series The Victoria Jackson Show, previously weighed in on the "legitimate rape" debacle. In one episode she gave her view on Republican Todd Akin’s comments that the "female body has ways" to prevent pregnancy if a woman is sexually assaulted.

Jackson said: "If I was raped I would have the baby and think of it as God making a blessing out of something bad." She is also not shy about her opposition on gay marriage. Last year she slammed the TV show Glee for the episode featuring two male characters kissing.

In her column for the World Net Weekly Jackson wrote: "Did you see Glee this week? Sickening! "And, besides shoving the gay thing down our throats, they made a mockery of Christians – again!"

Amanda Bynes was walking naked around a New York City Salon named Beach Bum Tanning, was the news published by a tabloid "In Touch Magazine" on Thursday. They said the 26 year-old former "Nickeldeon" star was walking in search of goggles completely nude and then returned to a private spray-tan room.

This news made Bynes completly unstable and she threatens to sue the magazine. she told Us Weekly, "I'm not 'troubled," and confessed,"I don't get naked in public. I'm 26, a multi-millionaire, retired. Please respect my privacy."

She also told Celebuzz via a text message Wednesday, "That's not true, I'll sue." The megazine might take the thing true as the actress suffered with driving violation, court dates, countless headlines. But she demands that now she is doing just fine.

Contradicting the InTouch account, a store employee told Us that Bynes, a frequent tanning customer, was "always polite" and usually just popped in and out.

South Carolina RB Marcus Lattimore returning soon

South Carolina's Mr. Football Marcus Lattimore suffered an injury on a hit during the second quarter of the match in which South Carolina's 38-35 victory in Columbia, S. C. His right knee dislocated and ligament was damaged but the doctor Jeffrey Guy was able to put everything in right place and South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier believes that he could eventually return to football soon.

“We’re optimistic his football days are ahead of him,” Spurrier said.“He knows what the road ahead is,” he continues. “We’re all hoping and praying he’ll be back.”

Britney Spears' former manager Sam Lutfi sues against Pop star and her family for, as he said he is to paid by Spears, about 1 million dollar. To defend that case she is to bear another 1 million as legal bill. E! News has learned that the pop superstar's family has run up a nearly $1 million tab to pay for the eight-person legal team defending her in her defamation trial.

That amount, ironically, is what her former manager is seeking after suing Spears and her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, in February 2009 for breach of contract, libel, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, especially after what he said were "false statements" about him in Lynne's book Through the Storm.

The Los Angeles lawyers defending the "Oops" singer include Leon Gladstone, Stephen Rohde, Joel Boxer and Bonita Moore, whose going rate is typically $500 an hour, but when they're in court, about $700 an hour. Additionally, Spears has her conservatorship attorneys in tow, Geraldine Wyle and Andrew Wallet.

There's also a lawyer on hand specializing in appeals in case Britney's camp needs to file one, should Lutfi's attorney attempt to revisit the issue of getting Spears to testify (a probate judge has forbidden this as she is still under a conservatorship).

Doing the math, having eight lawyers defend her will cost the hitmaker around $50,000 a day, or close to a whopping $1 million for what's expected to be a 20-day trial. That's not including all the pretrial hours such representation has no doubt already racked up.

And of course, let's not forget Spears spent roughly $1 million in legal bills in 2010 stemming from her conservatorship and other legal snafus, such as the sexual harassment suit she settled with her ex-bodyguard.

For his part, Lutfi was asking 15 percent of the $800,000 Spears earned each month for the eight months he served as her manager, which ends up being about $960,000.

So the bottom line is the Britster is paying either way. However, if Lutfi loses, she could bring a frivolous lawsuit against him asking a judge to reimburse her for her legal fees.

A college student named Stella Booshoft has become an internet sensation overnight. This 18 year-old New York viral hero recently posted a picture in her blog on self-acceptance in order to help other young women deal with body image taunts is taking a stand against both bullies and the trend of fat-shaming, in which society views a woman who isn’t stick-thin as less-than.

Boonshoft appeared on the Today Show yesterday and said that at first, she was “mortified” that the photo would be seen by so many people; it wasn’t originally supposed to go public, but became a part of photographer Brandon Stanton’s “Humans Of New York” project after he decided not to use the photo he’d taken of her fully clothed. Now, she’s become a role model for girls and young women everywhere by sharing her story.

“I think people are cruel because they are uncomfortable seeing an image of people who are not thin,” Boonshoft said. “I found that after years of struggling with my body image that really there was no way to justify the bullying as a child and as a teen.”

Now that she’s garnering national attention, however, Boonshoft says she will be changing the way her blog works. With the help of Stanton, she’ll be revamping the way she approaches it now that she has a broader audience.

Thank you for being so wonderful and supporting me through this crazy, incredible journey. It has been surreal.

I want to tell you that as far as a personal blog, this is endeavor is finished. I have a much broader audience, and I’m not so sure I’m comfortable sharing ALL of my life and thoughts with everyone! It’s a confusing, complex issue. I want to get the message of self love and acceptance out there, however, I don’t think chronicling every detail of my life is the way to go about that.

So, here’s to the new body love blog. Over the course of the next few weeks, me and my friend Brandon (who you all know from Humans of New York) are reinventing this blog.

I’m hoping it will turn the focus off of me, and onto a much larger issue. I want this blog to turn into something about YOU, not me.

It is all very exciting. I’m not going to reveal details yet, but trust me, this is going to be beautiful. I know that because you all are beautiful.

After 10 months of engagement, the actress and singer pair, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake, have tied the knot in Italy. "It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends," the couple said in a statement.

Marriage has been a long time coming for the couple, who have been linked since 2007. However, it hasn't always been an easy road, considering the pair split in 2011 before rekindling their romance just a few months later.

In early 2012, news broke that Timberlake, 31, had popped the question to Biel, 30, in Jackson, Wyo., though they never directly confirmed the news.

Biel, who has always been particularly guarded about her relationship with Timberlake, opened up about marriage in a May interview with the French magazine Gala.

"I don't think our marriage will change anything," she told the magazine. "It will be a challenge finding a balance between my private life, family and work, and I'm ready."

Timberlake, who has also always been hush-hush when it comes to talking about his bride, recently opened up to the Hollywood Foreign Press, saying Biel's a "really, really, really special person ... plus she's really, really hot!"

He continued to joke, revealing he "answers to a higher power now."

"We have a couple of rules in our relationship. The first rule is that I make her feel like she's getting everything," he continued. "The second rule is that I actually do let her have her way in everything. And, so far, it's working."

The final event: Jessica and Justin tied the knot at the Borgo Egnazia resort in the southern Italian city of Fasano on Oct. 19, 2012 in front of famous friends and family.

Kellan Lutz, American fashion model and actor for television and films, expresses his disire for Oscar and hopes he will one day win it. This Twilight Saga "Breaking Dawn-part 2" actor may be nearly done with with the trailer. This final installment, hits theaters next month -- but his career is far from over.

"I want to act for the rest of my life," the 27-year-old tells DuJour magazine. "I'll win an Oscar one day, but I'm in no rush to get there. I don't care if that takes me 50 years, and I'm old. I just love what I do." If the acting jobs dry up, though, the self-proclaimed science nerd has a solid plan B: chemical engineering.

Calling chemistry his "biggest passion in life," Lutz reveals that he has two top-secret patent-pending inventions in the works. In fact, he recently flew to Arizona (where his mom and several siblings live) to build his inventions with a scientist there.

"It's great because acting has given me the resources and platform to help charities but also the money to create my inventions and pay for the patent process," he explains. "Attorneys aren't cheap!"

Fortunately, the star still has a few paydays in his future. Lutz has several films set to be released in the next year or so, including Tarzan, a remake of the 1932 movie Tarzan the Ape Man. But first, he'll bid farewell to the Twilight Saga -- the franchise that gave him his big break.

"It really is bittersweet," the Breaking Dawn actor says. "It's very much like high school...and I'm ready to graduate."

That said, he's looking forward to celebrating the release of the film with his family, friends, and co-stars. "This is such a special moment in my life," Lutz adds. "I really just want to experience it with the people who mean the most to me."

"Gossip Girl" star Taylor Momsen do not mind bare everything as she did for her new music video. She is well known for her desire to shock and her love of heavy eye makeup and revealing clothing and she appears naked in the spoken word video for her band's new song Under the Water.

The 19-year-old The Pretty Reckless singer looks super skinny in the black and white footage in a newly released clip called The Words directed by Tim Mattia.

It begins by focusing on her different body parts and ends by showing her fully naked.

The artistic footage of the starlet - who found fame at the age of seven after starring alongside Jim Carey as Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas - includes audio of Taylor narrating the lyrics of the band's controversial new track.

The song includes the lines: "Broken lines, across my mirror. Show my face, all red and bruised. And though I screamed and I screamed, well no one came running. No I wasn't saved."

The blonde singer - who previously admitted she is "completely neurotic" - posted the clip on Twitter  and asked her 600,000 followers to share it.

She has posted photographs over the last couple of days of stills from the video, showing different parts of her body.
